Assistant counselors learn to lead younger children . They receive training and practice instructing and counseling younger campers. Assistant counselors experience an adventure in leadership, personal growth, and gain a kit bag full of skills to deal more powerfully with people of all ages. They get to have a chance to practice these skills in a supportive setting generous with feedback and mentorship - all the ingredients for adolescents to develop the life skills they'll need to succeed in life.
With my support and guidance, assistant counselors learn to plan programs for camper groups. From this they learn organizational skills, time management, personal initiative, delegation and accountability.
There is a stipend available for boys who demonstrate that their participation is consistently valuable.
If this sounds like the program for you or your son, please contact us right away.
